Visits to Redrock Presbyterian Church on 20th May 2018
& Institution of Revd Mark Lennox as Rector of Killyman on 17th May.

On Sunday 20th May Valerie was invited to speak about the ministry of the Zacchaeus Project
during a special evening service. The music for the evening was provided by members of Aghavilly, Ardarragh Accordion Bands and Hamiltonsbawn Silver bands.
The minister of the church Revd Sam Finlay prayed for Valerie and the volunteers of the project.
The service was supported by members of the marching band community.
After the service the congregation were treated to tea and buns in the parish Hall.
Thanks to all at Redrock for a lovely welcome, great praise time.

On Thursday 17th May while attending the Institutition of Revd. Mark Lennox as Rector of Killyman Parish,
Valerie met a lady who was thrilled when she heard of the work with marching bands.
She continued to tell Valerie that she had never missed a 12th July parade in her life
and how she just loved a band parade. She told Valerie to keep up the good work.
You never know where you meet someone who appreciates and is delighted about
the work of the Zacchaeus Project. It is a very humbling experience.
